10th International Brandmarker Congress – Marketing Communication
On behalf of the Management and Economics Club at Bogazici University we have pleasure in inviting you to be present at the 10th International Brandmarker Congress, which will take place at Bogazici University, Istanbul, from Sunday 17th June to Saturday 23rd June 2007.
Under the general theme of Marketing Communication, this summer the Congress shall provide a forum for eminent scholars and talented students from around the world to discuss and exchange ideas specifically on branding, interactive marketing, and social responsibility and marketing.
The Management and Economics Club which hosted the Chiasmus European Student Union Congress in 1992 and the Habitat Youth Café in 1995 has been organizing a series of international student congresses each summer since 1997 under the banner of GAIA where contemporary issues in marketing, advertising and management in general were examined. E-Business, Brand Management, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship were among some of the topics for which GAIA provided a venue. The International Brandmarker Congress which takes over from GAIA will this summer be welcoming experts from the industry and academics as well as students from different countries who will share their knowledge, experience and ideas on Marketing Communication. The Congress serves in fact as a playground for those who are passionate about their subjects and who wish to explore creative and innovative avenues. Case-studies, workshops, indoor and outdoor games, and competitions which are incorporated into the Congress schedule are all designed to encourage effective team performance whilst seeing how the theories fit in with the practice.
A congress which is held in Istanbul naturally calls for convivial gatherings and you may rest assured that we have plenty of exciting events and excursions awaiting you including a warm up game on your day of arrival as well as an intercultural night, a historic tour of the city and to top it all and draw the Congress to a close in style: an unforgettable Boat Party at night on the Bosphorus!
The majority of invitations for the conference are being distributed again by e-mail. However, if you require a hard copy on headed paper or if it would be helpful for a letter to be sent to your University or other institution informing it that an invitation has been sent to you, please let us know and we will be happy to provide this for you.
You will only have to pay for travel expenses to Istanbul and back to your home and the participation fee of 150 Euro, which includes all the costs of accommodation & food and the activities like city tour, intercultural night and parties. Do not miss the chance to be a part of this experience, bearing in mind that the participation is limited only to 120 attendants.
